Calibre Search

Search your local calibre library using selected text/links.

This addon allows you to search against your local desktop calibre library using text or links that you select on web pages. The most common usage would be for book titles and/or authors - however as it is just performing text searches it will work with any type of calibre library you may have. It offers a context menu, keyboard shortcut (Ctrl+Q) and toolbar button options. No more need for manual copy/paste! In addition you can optionally configure replace expressions to be applied before executing the search to strip out words that would cause the calibre search to fail. For instance a web page containing some text like "Title by Author (Year)" could have the "by" and "(...)" parts stripped out so the calibre search becomes "Title Author".
