Overview

Adds bilingual date labels and a compact editable Calendar day panel.

See your month and a selected day's schedule together. CalendarTools adds a resizable day panel alongside Google Calendar's Month view, with a complete day's timeline fitted to the available window height. Key features: - Bilingual month and weekday labels: choose two of 14 supported date languages, their order and separator. - A full-day panel supporting Google's 24-hour and AM/PM formats, arrows, Today and a small date picker. Nearby dates switch inside the existing panel; the first load and distant dates may still require loading Google Calendar. - Linked views: clicking a day number in Month view changes the open day panel without leaving Month view. You can turn linking off to navigate independently. - Optional month-following when the panel moves to a different month. - Optional keyboard navigation: Shift+Left/Right for previous/next day, Shift+Up/Down for Today. Shortcuts do not intercept typing or open forms and menus. - Optional weekday background colors in Month view, including the column headings. Choose each day separately, from 24 presets or a custom color, with adjustable intensity. - Optional working-hours highlighting in the day panel: choose days, start/end time, color and intensity. The original background outside the selected range remains unchanged. A subtle event outline helps distinguish cards against custom backgrounds without changing event colors. - Native event details and creation dialogs fitted to the available panel space, including long titles. - Event cards showing the title alone or the title with times; adjustable left sidebar width and optional sidebar content scaling. - A remembered open/closed panel preference shared across Calendar tabs and windows in the same browser profile. New Calendar pages start on Today; dates in existing windows remain independent. - A compact menu and separate settings page with adjustable menu width and interface text size. - Automatic, Light, Dark and Colorful themes for the extension's menu, settings, Getting started, What's new and update notice. These themes do not recolor Google Calendar, the day panel or its date picker. - Polish/English help, setting hints and release history. After a Chrome Web Store update, a one-time What's new notice explains the changes; unpacked copies do not show it automatically. - Restore one settings group's defaults after confirmation, without resetting other groups. - Local settings export/import with a preview and confirmation, without accounts or events. - Activation on all Google accounts or only the accounts you select. This does not combine calendars from separate accounts. - Report a problem: an editable email draft with the extension version and available browser/engine name and version. No accounts, events or logs are attached automatically; nothing is sent by the extension. New installations open the day panel and enable linked views by default. This update enables linking once for existing store installations too; you can switch it off, and later updates preserve that choice. An update does not reopen a previously closed panel. Existing languages and other preferences are preserved. On first installation, the menu uses Polish for a Polish browser interface and English otherwise. Date languages are selected locally from supported browser preferences and can be changed in Settings. CalendarTools runs only on calendar.google.com and uses your existing Google session. The side-by-side layout is designed for Month view and Google's custom 4-day view. Time format follows Google Calendar settings. Privacy: Calendar page elements are processed locally to provide these interface features. Preferences and any account allowlist you explicitly select are stored locally, not sent to the developer. No ads, analytics or developer-operated servers. The native Calendar application communicates with Google as usual; CalendarTools does not use the Google Calendar API or request separate OAuth access. Code, help and visual assets are bundled. Sending a support email is your choice in your mail application. CalendarTools is independent and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Google.
