Overview

Drag over free time on Google Calendar, Outlook or Teams to collect candidate time slots, then copy them as text.

Calendar Slot Picker helps you schedule meetings. While you look at free time on your calendar, drag over it to collect candidate time slots, then copy them all as text to paste into an email or chat. Thu, Oct 22 10:00 AM – 11:30 AM Fri, Oct 23 2:00 PM – 3:00 PM HOW TO USE 1. Open the week or day view of Google Calendar, Outlook on the web or Microsoft Teams. 2. Hold Alt (Option on Mac) and drag over a free time range. It is added to the panel at the bottom right. 3. Press Copy on the panel and paste the text wherever you need it. FEATURES • Turn on selection mode (Alt+Shift+S) to add slots by dragging without holding a key. Outside the time grid, the calendar works as usual. • Drag across several days to add the same time range to each day. • Added slots are outlined on the calendar and stay in place when you scroll or change weeks. • Slots are shared between tabs, so you can collect them across calendars and copy them in one go. • Choose the time step (5–60 minutes), the date format, 12- or 24-hour time, separators, and whether to put each day on one line. • Merge on: overlapping or adjacent slots become one range of free time. Merge off: each slot stays a separate option, such as several one-hour choices. • Adjust a slot by dragging its top or bottom edge, or drag it to another time or day. Delete it with its × button. SUPPORTED CALENDARS • Google Calendar • Outlook on the web (outlook.office.com, outlook.live.com) • Microsoft Teams calendar Views with a time grid (day, work week, week) are supported. The month view is not. PRIVACY The extension reads the calendar page only to work out which date and time you dragged over. It collects no data and sends nothing to any server.
