Tired of clicking every event in Google Calendar just to see what it's about? Calendar Glance shows the details in a small card the moment you hover over an event — no clicks, no pop-ups, no switching views. ■ Who it's for · People with a day full of meetings, calls and deadlines · Anyone who finds titles in week or month view too short to tell events apart · People who keep opening events just to find the meeting link or the room · Teams sharing calendars who want to check attendees at a glance ■ Features 1. Hover card In month, week or day view, rest your pointer on an event for half a second and a card appears. 2. Everything important in one place · Date and time (all-day and multi-day events shown clearly) · Location · Video meeting link (Google Meet, Zoom) — join straight from the card · Attendees with their responses ("+N more" when the list is long) · Description — cleaned up and shown up to 5 lines; "Show more" for the rest · Attachments — see the files on the event, and hover a file name to preview it (PDF, image, document) right next to the card. Click to open it in a new tab. 3. Stays out of your way · The card disappears as soon as you move away or click elsewhere. · Clicking and dragging events works exactly as before. · Near the edge of the screen the card flips so it is never cut off. 4. Accurate for recurring events For recurring events you see the exact occurrence you hovered over. Events are identified by Calendar's own ID, never by title. 5. Your language, your settings · English and Korean, following your browser language. Dates and times use your local format. · Adjust the hover delay (0.1–3 s), card width and font size in Options. ■ How to use 1. Install the extension. 2. Open Google Calendar (calendar.google.com). 3. Hover over any event. The first time only, click "Connect Google account" and allow read-only access. 4. From then on, just hover. ■ Privacy & security · Read-only access. The extension cannot create, edit or delete events. · Event data is fetched by your browser directly from the Google Calendar API and shown only on your screen. Nothing is sent to or stored on the developer's or any other server. · The access token lives only in the browser session and is gone when you close the browser. · Links and scripts inside event descriptions are never executed — they are shown as plain text. · If you don't have access to an event, the card simply says so. It never shows another event instead. ■ Good to know · Works with the Google account you are signed in to in Chrome. · Changes to an event appear on the card within one minute. ■ Pricing · Calendar Glance is currently free. · Once usage grows beyond a certain level, some or all features may move to a paid plan.
