Overview
Turn Google Calendar into a time-blocked to-do list. Alt-click an event (Option-click on Mac) to check it off.
Mark Google Calendar events complete without leaving your calendar. Calendar Checkoff is a lightweight Google Calendar task-list extension. Hold Option on a Mac—or Alt on Windows and ChromeOS—and click an event you can edit. The extension adds a ✅ to the beginning of its title. Repeat the same gesture to remove it. Use Calendar Checkoff to turn time blocks into a lightweight to-do list and see what you have already completed at a glance. • One gesture to check or uncheck an event • Works directly inside Google Calendar • No popup, account, or separate task list • No Calendar API, OAuth access, or backend • No extension analytics, advertising, or data collection • Any review prompt eligibility stays only in local extension storage Everything happens in your browser. Google Calendar saves the title change just as if you had edited the event yourself. Calendar Checkoff works with events you have permission to edit. It cannot change events on read-only calendars. I built Calendar Checkoff for myself and am sharing it in case you work the same way. Calendar Checkoff is an independent extension and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Google.
