Overview
Connect Google, Outlook, Apple, Fastmail and more calendars. Create events, schedule meetings, and add video calls in one place.
📅 Caldee — one calendar in the Google Chrome side panel Caldee is a convenient calendar extension that brings events from Google Calendar, Microsoft Outlook and more other CalDAV-compatible calendars into one interface. Open your schedule directly in the Chrome side panel without leaving the current tab. Check availability, create and edit events, invite guests, and add Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, or Zoom video meetings—all in one place. Caldee is designed for people who need to check their schedule quickly while working in the browser. Your calendar stays next to the open page, so you do not have to constantly switch between tabs, applications, and accounts. 🗓️ All your calendars in one place You can connect multiple accounts, choose which calendars to display, and manage visibility, colors, availability checks, and event creation for each source separately. 📌 Your calendar stays next to the current tab Caldee works in the Chrome side panel. It opens next to a website, document, email, or work service without interrupting your current task. It is useful when you need to: • Check your free time during a conversation • Quickly create a meeting using information from the open page • Compare multiple work and personal calendars • Open a video conference link • View attendees and event details • Reschedule a meeting without opening a separate calendar service You can keep the panel open while you work and use it as a permanent compact calendar. ⏱️ Convenient day view In Day view, events appear on a clear time grid. Overlapping meetings are arranged side by side, while their position and height reflect their actual start time, end time, and duration. Day view features: • Move to the previous or next day • Quickly return to today • Select a date from the calendar • Clearly display overlapping events • Create an event by selecting a time range • Drag an event to another time • Open event details with one click • Display calendars in different colors Select an available interval directly on the time grid, and Caldee automatically fills in the date, start time, and end time for the new event. 🗓️ Multi-month overview The Months view helps you review your schedule across a wider date range. Days containing events are marked with indicators, making it easier to find busy and available dates without opening each day individually. From the month overview, you can immediately select a date and open its detailed schedule. You can also choose which view—Day or Months—opens by default. ✏️ Create and edit events Caldee lets you manage events directly from the side panel. When creating a meeting, select the destination calendar and add only the details you need. Available event fields: • Title • Date • Start and end time • Time zone • Location • Description • Attendees • Video conference • Availability status • Visibility • Reminder • Destination calendar Existing events can be opened, edited, moved to another time, or deleted. Caldee warns you before discarding an unsaved draft or closing the editor with unsaved changes, and asks for confirmation before deleting an event. 👥 Invitations and meeting attendees Add guests by email address while creating or editing an event. You can mark each attendee as required or optional and remove them before saving. Existing event details show: • Attendee name and email address • Required or optional status • Accepted invitation • Declined invitation • Tentative response • Awaiting response After the event is saved, the connected calendar service sends invitations to attendees. This lets you prepare a complete meeting without opening a separate Google Calendar or Outlook page. 🎥 Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, Zoom, and custom links Add video conferencing while creating an event. Available options: • Google Meet for compatible Google calendars • Microsoft Teams for compatible Outlook calendars • Zoom through a connected Zoom account • Any custom video conference link • An event without a video meeting Caldee creates the conference through the appropriate service and saves the link inside the event. You can connect a separate Zoom account directly from the extension settings. When the time or title of a managed Zoom meeting changes, the associated meeting is updated as well. The video meeting link appears in the event details and opens with one click. ⚠️ Schedule conflict detection Before creating, editing, or moving an event, Caldee checks selected calendars for existing commitments. If another event already occupies the selected time, the extension displays a conflict warning. You decide what to do next: 1️⃣ Choose another time 2️⃣ Return to editing 3️⃣ Save the event despite the conflict You can configure whether each calendar participates in availability checks. For example, an informational calendar can remain visible without causing conflicts. Conversely, an important work calendar can always be included when checking for overlaps. 👁️ Flexible calendar visibility controls Connected calendars are managed independently. You can hide events from a specific calendar without disconnecting the whole account or deleting anything from the original service. Per-calendar options include: • Show or hide events • Include or exclude the calendar from availability checks • Use an available calendar to create events • Refresh calendar data This makes it possible to combine personal, work, and team schedules while keeping only relevant sources visible in the interface. 🌐 CalDAV for Apple, Fastmail, Yandex, Nextcloud, and other services Caldee supports calendars through the CalDAV standard. The extension includes presets for popular providers and also lets you enter the address of another compatible server. To connect, you will need: • A provider or CalDAV server address • A username • An app password For services that support app passwords, use a dedicated app password instead of your primary account password. Once connected, available calendars appear in the shared list next to Google Calendar and Outlook. 🔄 Up-to-date events and fast refresh Caldee synchronizes connected sources and refreshes the calendar when changes occur. New events and updates can appear in the interface without repeatedly reloading the panel manually. Also available: • Manual calendar refresh • Refreshing an individual connection • Saved data for faster reopening • Displaying the last saved schedule during temporary network issues • Automatic recovery of the current state after reconnecting If the network is temporarily unavailable, Caldee can display previously saved events. Creating and editing events become available again after the connection is restored. 🌍 Languages and time zones The Caldee interface is translated into many languages and can automatically use the browser language. You can also select a language manually in the settings without changing the Chrome language. The extension accounts for time zones when displaying and editing meetings. Use your system time zone or find and select another one. If an event's original time zone differs from the current setting, Caldee shows that information in the event details. This is especially useful for remote teams, international calls, travel, and collaboration with people in different regions. 🎨 Light and dark themes Switch between light and dark appearance to match the time of day or your workspace. If you have not selected a theme manually, Caldee can follow your system appearance. Theme, language, time zone, and default calendar view settings are saved on the device, so the interface remains familiar the next time you open it. 🔔 Reminders, availability, and privacy When creating an event, you can set a reminder: • No reminder • At the start time • 10 minutes before • 30 minutes before • 1 hour before You can also mark an event as Busy or Free and select its visibility: the calendar default or Private. These settings are sent to the connected calendar service together with the other meeting details. 🔐 Sign-in and connection controls Sign in to Caldee with Google. Additional calendar accounts are connected separately, so you control which services are added. In the settings, you can: • Connect Google Calendar • Connect Microsoft Outlook Calendar • Add a CalDAV calendar • Connect Zoom • View connected accounts • Disconnect an individual account When you disconnect a calendar account, its events disappear from the shared Caldee interface but remain in the original calendar service. Existing Zoom meetings also remain in calendars after Zoom is disconnected, but reconnecting is required to create or modify managed Zoom meetings. 💬 Frequently Asked Questions ❓ How can I open my calendar without closing the current page? 💡 Click the Caldee icon and open the Chrome side panel.
