5tldr helps you summarize articles and selected text in Chrome’s side panel, then save useful results to your reading library. What you can do • Generate an AI summary of supported web pages or selected text. • Choose a summary mode and output language. • Save summaries with their original source links to your 5tldr library. • Translate text, keep a local Read Later list, and export readable pages to Markdown or PDF. Getting started 1. Open the 5tldr side panel and sign in to your 5tldr account. 2. Visit a readable article and choose Summarize, or use a selection or right-click action. 3. Review the result and save it if useful. Access and limits An account is required for AI features. Free and paid plans have usage limits. See https://5tldr.com/pricing for current plans. Some pages cannot be read because of site or browser restrictions. AI-generated results may contain mistakes; check the original source. Data use The side panel reads the current page locally to prepare a preview. Content you submit for AI features is sent to 5tldr and its AI service providers.
