CAID Plugin
Overview
A plugin to identify and tag deepfake images.
Help identify AI-generated images. Vote on images you see online & contribute to a decentralized truth ledger. Is that image real or AI-generated? Help build a trustworthy web, together. The line between real and synthetic images is blurring. CAID (Community AI Detector) is a simple browser extension that empowers you to identify and tag potentially AI-generated or deepfake images you encounter online. How it Works: 1. Right-Click: See an image you want to verify? Simply right-click on it. 2. Vote: Click the CAID extension icon. A popup will show the selected image. Cast your vote: "Real" or "Synthetic". 3. Community Consensus: Your vote, along with others, is collected based on a unique fingerprint (perceptual hash) of the image. 4. Building Truth (Future): Once enough votes create a clear consensus, the final verdict will be permanently recorded on a decentralized blockchain ledger (feature coming soon!), creating a tamper-proof public record. Why Use CAID? Contribute: Be part of a community effort to bring transparency to online images. Simple: Easy right-click and vote interface. Decentralized: Aims to create a trustworthy record not controlled by any single entity. Informative: Helps raise awareness about the prevalence of synthetic media. Join us in building a more authentic digital world. Install CAID and start voting today!
