Cadent
Overview
Bring your Gradescope, McGraw-Hill Connect, Achieve, and other coursework into Cadent.
Cadent turns everything you have due into one calm, realistic plan — and this extension is how your coursework gets in. Most of your assignments live in Canvas, but not all of them. Gradescope, McGraw-Hill Connect, and Macmillan Achieve each hold problem sets, quizzes, and deadlines that never end up in one place. This extension reads those assignment lists while you're signed in and sends them straight to the Cadent app on your computer, so every due date lands in your plan automatically. What it does • Imports your assignments and due dates from Gradescope, McGraw-Hill Connect, and Macmillan Achieve. • Works quietly in the background — open a course site you're signed in to, and new work shows up in Cadent on its own. • Lets you save any other page to Cadent as reference from the toolbar popup. How your data is handled • Everything the extension reads is sent only to the Cadent app installed on your own computer, through Chrome's built-in native messaging. Nothing is sent to Cadent's servers or any third party. • It never asks for or stores your passwords. It uses the session you're already signed in to, the same way the site does. • It only runs on the course sites listed in its permissions. You'll need the Cadent desktop app installed to receive imports. Learn more at cadent.work.
