Overview
Open Cadence's create-rule flow from the Notion page you're on. Preview 10, confirm is the only write.
Notion only creates a recurring task on the day it's due, so your calendar looks empty next week. Cadence writes the next several weeks as real Notion database rows — so the calendar shows what's coming. This extension is a shortcut. On any Notion page or database, click the Cadence icon and it opens Cadence's new-rule screen, pre-filled from the page you're on. How it works - Open a Notion page or database. - Click the Cadence icon, then "Create a Cadence rule." - Cadence previews the next 10 occurrences. Nothing is written yet. - You confirm. Confirm is the only action that writes to Notion. - Edit or move any row later in Notion — Cadence leaves your changes alone and never creates duplicates. What it reads Only the public URL and visible title of the Notion tab you're on, and only when you click the icon. It never reads your Notion cookies, local storage, or API tokens, and it sends no data anywhere except opening the Cadence page you asked for. You'll need a Cadence account (free for 1 rule) to create and confirm rules. Cadence is an independent tool and is not affiliated with Notion Labs, Inc.
