This Extension Doesn't Work Anymore - PLEASE FIX

Unfortunately this extension doesn't work at all, and I'm not the only one with this issue according to the "Support" section for this extension. I have installed Hashigo! and reinstalled it 3 times, but it still only makes a black strip in the bottom of the screen with no subtitles. And yes, this still happens in shows with Japanese subtitles. There is also no help doc for this extension, so I have no idea of what I can do to fix this. I've tried disabling my Adblocker and allowing pop-ups, I've tried reloading the page with the extension off and on, but none of these attempts have worked. Please advise. Thank you!

The extension simply doesn't work

Unfortunately it doesn't work. I've installed it and reinstalled it 3 times, and it still only makes a black strip in the bottom of the screen. No subtitles. And yes, even in shows with Japanese subs. And there's no help doc so I have no idea of what I could do

subtitles

I enabled the extension and I am indeed getting Hashigo subtitles but it is in English. How do I enable it in Japanese?
