Analyze cache status of the current page and show HIT or MISS on the toolbar icon.

HOW IT WORKS As you browse, CacheHit reads response headers and updates the toolbar badge: • HIT (green) — served from edge cache • MISS (red) — not found in edge cache • DYN (orange) — Cloudflare DYNAMIC / not edge-cached • Other statuses such as BYPASS, EXPIRED, and REVALIDATED when present WHAT YOU GET • Instant badge status for the active tab • Primary cache header callout in the popup • Full response header list (cache-related headers first) • Clear browser cache for this site only • Clear all site data for this origin (cache, cookies, storage — may log you out) SUPPORTED CACHE SIGNALS Works with common CDN and cache headers, including: • Cloudflare (cf-cache-status, server-timing) • Varnish, Drupal, Fastly, Akamai, and similar X-Cache style headers • Fallback analysis when Age indicates a cached response WHO IT’S FOR Developers, DevOps, and anyone verifying CDN or reverse-proxy caching while testing sites. PRIVACY CacheHit runs locally in your browser. It does not send browsing data to an external server. Cache-clearing actions only affect the current site’s local browser data when you choose them.
