Description (edited) CA PRO Toolkit is a professional workflow assistant designed for Chartered Accountants, audit firms, and finance teams. ​ The extension has a single core purpose: to help CA professionals plan, track, and complete audit and compliance work (tasks, due dates, client follow-ups, and review support) efficiently from the browser. ​ CA PRO Toolkit is not a general productivity tool, ad blocker, or browsing utility—every feature is built specifically for CA practice workflows such as statutory compliance tracking, task execution, audit review, and firm coordination. ​ Key Features Compliance Reminders (Deadline Alerts) Create compliance reminders (e.g., GST/TDS/MCA items), store them locally for scheduling, and receive Chrome notifications; when enabled, transactional reminder emails are sent based on user-created reminders. ​ Task & Firm Workflow (My Tasks + Admin Dashboard) Create and manage firm tasks, assign work to team members, track status, and open “My Tasks” from the extension for day-to-day execution. ​ SmartChase / Today’s Work Support Supports “clients to chase today” / daily follow-up style workflow to help teams prioritize what needs immediate action. ​ AI-Assisted Audit Tools (User-Initiated) Run an AI audit scan only when the user clicks “Start AI Audit Scan” and explicitly initiates capture of the current visible document/page; manual audit text analysis is also available when users paste text themselves. ​ Audit History Audit scans and manual analysis results are stored in extension storage for quick reference and review. ​ Accounting Intelligence (Readiness Snapshot) Create a lightweight accounting “health/readiness” snapshot for a client/period to support audit planning; it is an intelligence layer and not a bookkeeping/ledger system. ​ Tax Work Tracker (Client-wise Checklist) Track GST/ITR/Audit/ROC-style work using client-wise checklists, progress status, and save updates to the backend for continuity. ​ Secure OTP Login (No Passwords) Passwordless OTP authentication is used for sign-in; no passwords are stored in the extension. ​ Firm & Role-Based Access Supports firm workflows and role separation (Owner/Firm Admin/Staff) to control access to firm data and task operations. ​ Why a browser extension? CA professionals frequently work inside web portals and online documents, so CA PRO Toolkit provides quick access to compliance tools and CA workflows without switching platforms. ​ What CA PRO Toolkit does NOT do: Does not block ads. ​ Does not inject third-party ads or unrelated scripts. ​ Does not claim to read emails or private website content automatically (audit tools run only when user initiates actions). Backend Usage (polished) A secure backend is used only to authenticate users, store firm/task/checklist data, send reminder emails only when a user creates/enables reminders, and sync dashboards across devices. ​ Where applicable, some data is stored only with the user’s consent (for example: firm tasks, tax-work checklist progress, and accounting snapshots created by the user). ​ For user control, the extension supports retention-based clean-up : users can remove stored records by choosing a preferred clearing option such as “Clear now” or time-based retention (e.g., 7/15/30/90 days), and the system automatically removes older records accordingly.
