ByteThirst is a Chrome extension that estimates QueryWeight - the environmental cost of each AI query (water, energy, and CO₂ ) across 14 AI platforms and shows you a real-time dashboard of your impact. No configuration needed — just install and use your AI tools normally. You can also install our CLI in your favorite IDE to measure the impact of vibe coding outside of the browser. Just use "npm install -g bytethirst" in your command line interface.
