ByteBuffer puts short casual games in Chrome’s side panel, so you can take a break without leaving the tab. Open the panel, pick a game, play a round, then close it with one keystroke and get back to work. After a game is cached on your device, it still works without a network. Games • Merge 2048 — slide tiles. Stop anytime. • Minesweeper — clear the grid. Think a bit. • Stack — tap to stack. Keep going. • Snake — chase a local high score. • Buffer Type — type the stream. Find a rhythm. Why the side panel Stay in the tab you already have open. The games are built for a narrow column, not a new window. Close with Alt+Shift+B. Mute with Alt+Shift+M. You can remap both in chrome://extensions/shortcuts. Scores and saves stay on this device. There is no account and no ad feed. How to start 1. Click the ByteBuffer icon in the toolbar, or press Alt+Shift+B. 2. Choose a game. 3. Press Alt+Shift+B again when you want the panel gone. ByteBuffer is for the space between tasks: a short reset, then back to what you were doing. Privacy The extension sends anonymous use events (opening the side panel, which game you open) to Google Analytics. It does not collect accounts, browsing history, scores, or saves.
