Byrd IRC client is an app for the Google Chrome browser that allows users to interface with multiple IRC network through a simple point-and-click interface. The goal of this project is to bring a desktop-like IRC experience to Chrome Books and PCs using the Chrome browser. I want to love it but without SSL support its largely unusable for me.

Pretty good bare bones IRC client. Only one Ive found so far that actually works decent under ChromeOS. but could use more features like logging in DM and Channels. Downloads would be nice. auto startup of MULTIPLE servers would be nice. It was helpful to at least be able to save them so that is nice. Overall clean and functional.

Overall it's a smooth experience, but I hope it can support downloads someday.
