Your AI keys. Your models. Your rules, on every website. BYOM Wallet helps you use your own AI accounts on websites that support BYOM. Connect a hosted AI service, a compatible API endpoint, or a local model server, then decide which websites can use it. Your API keys stay encrypted on your device. Websites can request AI through BYOM, but they never receive your keys directly. 🔐 HOW IT WORKS 1. Install BYOM Wallet and unlock your encrypted vault. 2. Add your AI provider by saving an API key locally or connecting a local model server. 3. Browse normally. When a website uses BYOM, you see a clear consent request with the site origin, task, model, estimated cost, budget, and privacy mode. 4. Approve once, always allow, or deny. Your choice stays under your control. Websites integrate with the BYOM SDK. Your keys stay inside the extension and never enter the page. ⚙️ MAIN FEATURES • Encrypted vault for API keys, using AES-GCM and a passphrase-derived unlock key. • Per-site consent with daily or monthly budgets, expiry settings, and privacy routing options. • Smart routing that can choose a provider based on the task, provider health, and your preferences. • Local usage dashboard for request history and estimated spend. • Flexible provider setup with 14+ providers including local ollama support ! 🛡️ PRIVACY • API keys and site grants stay on your device. • BYOM does not operate a server that receives your keys or prompts. • Usage history is stored locally for your dashboard. • Prompts are sent only to the AI provider you choose, after you approve a site. The extension does not load remote code. Storage: saves encrypted credentials, site grants, and routing preferences. Tabs: shows the current site favicon in the consent request. Side panel: opens the main wallet interface.
