Bye Bye, Google AI: Turn off Google AI Overviews, Discussions and Ads

I already use Google's Web Tab with w + space for something else. I don't know why this extension hijacked my keyboard shortcuts. There's a lot to like about this extension, but I had to uninstall it. It shouldn't override user defined shortcuts without any option or warning.

Thankyou for this. Funny how thousands of people want this and google still decided to make AI mandatory.

Google have broken something that this AddOn relied on, so at the moment it doesn't work. Hopefully the author will fix it soon so that the slop becomes invisible again

Good lord, THANK YOU!!!! The only thing I would wish for is an option to prevent the AI from appearing at all. Currently the AI Overview pops up for a second and then is stripped from the page. I would be OK with a slight delay in loading google.com pages if the AI was removed before the page is rendered. Yes, I hate AI that much!
