BuyBlock is an impulse-purchase cooldown for Chrome. When you're about to buy something you didn't plan for, BuyBlock first researches the product for you — then makes you wait 24-72 hours before you can act on what it found. By the time the cooldown ends, the dopamine has faded and you're left with the information instead. WHY BUYBLOCK? Most "wishlist" tools just collect stuff you want. BuyBlock is the opposite: it defuses urgency in two layers. First, AI research deflates the rush in real time ("oh, it's actually overpriced" or "reviews flag battery problems").
