WHY BULK EDITING ON EBAY IS SO PAINFUL eBay Seller Hub was designed for managing listings one at a time. When you need to change something across dozens or hundreds of listings, you hit the same walls every time: - Price changes require opening each listing individually, editing the field, and saving. There is no "select all and adjust by 10%" option. - Shipping updates follow the same click-by-click process. Switching 80 listings to free shipping means 80 separate edits. - Title updates have no find-and-replace. If a brand changes its name or you spot a recurring typo, you fix it one listing at a time. - Exporting data means copying and pasting from the screen, or dealing with eBay's limited file exchange system. WHAT THIS EXTENSION DOES BulkBay adds a side panel to your browser that lets you select multiple listings on any eBay page and apply changes to all of them at once. No spreadsheets, no file uploads, no waiting for eBay's servers to process a bulk update. Here is what you get: Bulk Price Editing — Select your listings and adjust prices by percentage, by a fixed dollar amount, or set an exact new price. Choose to increase or decrease. A live preview shows you exactly what each listing's price will look like before you confirm. If you need to drop all prices by 15% for a clearance event, it takes about five seconds. Bulk Shipping Changes — Switch all selected listings to free shipping with one click, or set a flat shipping rate across the board. No more opening each listing to change the shipping option. Bulk Title Find and Replace — Enter the text you want to find and the replacement text, and the extension updates every selected listing's title. Case-sensitive matching is available. Useful for brand name changes, fixing recurring typos, or adding seasonal keywords like "Christmas" or "Back to School" across your inventory. Data Export — Download your selected listing data as a CSV, JSON, or XLSX file. Each export includes the listing title, price, item ID, image URL, shipping info, and condition. Useful for inventory tracking, price comparisons, or migrating data to another platform. Edit features currently run in Preview Mode. Changes are displayed visually on the page so you can see exactly how your listings would look. Full eBay API integration for permanent saves is in development. Export works immediately with real data from your listings. HOW IT WORKS 1. Navigate to any eBay page that shows listings — search results, Seller Hub, category pages, or your active listings. 2. Hold Alt and click on any listing to select it. A blue outline appears around selected listings. Or use the Select All button in the side panel to grab everything on the page. 3. Open the side panel and choose your bulk action — price, shipping, title, or export. 4. Configure the change, preview the results, and confirm. That is the entire workflow. No forms to fill out, no files to upload, no 10-step process. WHY A SIDE PANEL INSTEAD OF A POPUP Most Chrome extensions use a small popup window that closes the moment you click anywhere else on the page. That does not work for a bulk editing workflow. You need to select listings on the page, then configure your edit, then preview, then apply — and you need the tool to stay open the entire time. The side panel stays open alongside your eBay page. You can select listings, scroll through search results, and interact with the extension without anything closing or resetting. It is a much better experience for this kind of tool. DATA EXPORT IN DETAIL The export feature pulls real data directly from the listings visible on the page. Each row includes: - Item ID - Listing title - Current price - Shipping information - Item condition - Listing URL - Image URL Exports are generated locally in your browser and downloaded as a file. Nothing is uploaded to any server. CSV format opens directly in Excel and Google Sheets. JSON is useful for developers and automation workflows. Up to 100 rows per export on the free tier.
