Facebook Reset & Feed Control makes desktop Facebook quieter and easier to control, from one visible in-tab panel. HIDE ADS AND CLEAN UP FACEBOOK HOME Hide detected ads wherever they turn up: in the Feed, down the side, and in the Reels strip. Choose whether an ad is removed outright or replaced with a small marker, and whether to match all likely ads or only the ones Facebook labels. Add an individual advertiser to the local block list to keep its ads out of this browser. Clean up the Facebook Home page as well: hide the side menus, Stories, the post box, and floating chat. Turn Feed Control off and all of it comes back immediately. Both are free, with no limit. QUIET THE FEED Hide suggestions as you scroll: Suggested for you, suggested Pages, suggested groups, and People You May Know, plus Reels and Watch. Write your own filters for words, exact phrases, hashtags, domains, people and sources, and topics. Save up to 500. Free runs three of them at a time; the rest stay in the list, paused, until you turn one off or get Pro. Pro adds five more filters: AI-labelled content, engagement bait, duplicate posts, repeated reshares, and Comment Shield, which reaches the comments under a post as well as the post itself. Hidden posts leave a local placeholder with Show once, and the Hidden posts screen lists what was hidden and why. Feed Control removes ads and hides content after Facebook loads it. It does not block ad or tracking requests, report content to Facebook, or change follows, friends, Pages, or groups. FACEBOOK RESET Review unwanted relationships before any run. Supported actions: - Leave groups or cancel pending group joins. - Unfollow groups or set group notifications to Off or Highlights. - Unfollow Pages or people. - Remove friends. - Cancel sent friend requests. Discovery is available in Free and Pro. If Facebook does not provide the list directly, you can allow the extension to scan the open page; that fallback is off by default. Search, filter, keep, and select exact items. Groups you administer cannot be left. Unknown activity is not proof of inactivity. FREE AND PRO Free hides ads, cleans up Facebook Home, and hides suggestions and Reels with no limit. It runs three of your own words or topics at a time, and changes 3 ready relationship items per explicitly confirmed run. Pro is $9 once, with no subscription. It runs the whole reviewed selection in one pass, runs every word and topic you have saved, adds the five Pro Feed filters, and adds activity sort and quick select on large lists. Pro does not remove review, confirmation, pacing, verification, checkpoints, or Facebook restrictions. Payment never starts cleanup. RESULTS AND PRIVACY Review done, skipped, failed, and unverified outcomes. An unverified attempt may already have changed Facebook; reconcile its current state before retrying. Run history and feed records stay in Chrome storage on this device. JSON/CSV export contains local run history, not full Facebook data or engagement analytics. The extension does not ask for your Facebook password. Gumroad and the activation service handle payment, license verification, and delivery records. Optional operational diagnostics are off by default and exclude Facebook content, names, identifiers, rules, URLs, and raw history.
