Bulk edit, delete, and download your Google Photos at scale. Batch adds the bulk actions Google Photos is missing. Select photos in your library, click Batch, choose an action, and Batch works through your selection in Chrome using Google Photos' own tools. Use Batch to edit hundreds of photos at once, convert live/motion photos to stills, move unwanted photos to Trash, or download photos and videos in bulk instead of opening every photo and repeating the same action one by one. Batch converts them to stills in bulk, so you keep the photo, remove the motion, and reclaim storage. In early testing, many photos shrink by roughly 70-80%, though savings vary by photo. Batch creates a still version of the photo and moves the original live/motion photo to Trash. You keep the still image and original date, but the motion is removed. Some metadata, such as location or camera details, may not carry over. Originals can be restored from Trash for 60 days. Move photos to Trash: Batch moves photos and videos to Google Photos Trash, the same Move to trash action you would do by hand. Move a selection, or clear out your entire library in one run. Nothing is permanently deleted. Google Photos keeps trashed items for 60 days, and you can restore them there during that time. Batch never empties the Trash and never deletes anything permanently. Download in bulk: Batch downloads full-quality copies of your photos and videos to your computer, using Google Photos' own download. Download a selection, or your entire library at once. Large libraries can take a while and use significant disk space, and Chrome will ask once to allow multiple downloads. For a complete archive with metadata and album structure, Google Takeout may be a better fit. Custom Presets: Save your own edit settings and apply the same look across a batch. Adjust brightness, warmth, shadows, saturation, vignette, and more, then reuse that look across trips, weddings, listings, product photos, or full albums. Your photos stay in Google Photos. Nothing uploaded to us. Batch is an independent Chrome extension and is not affiliated with Google. Google Photos is a trademark of Google LLC. How it works: Batch automates the same clicks and keystrokes you would make by hand inside Google Photos. When some batches are running, Chrome may show a banner that says Batch has started debugging the browser. This is Chrome's message for extensions that use the browser's automation and debugging API to perform actions on your behalf. The banner is expected while those batches run, and you can stop the batch at any time. Batch only works on the Google Photos tab you are using. It does not attach to other tabs. Payments are handled by ExtensionPay, built on Stripe. Batch does not see or store your payment information. Privacy: Batch stores batch progress, your monthly photo counter, saved Custom Presets, and your appearance preference locally in Chrome storage. Batch does not upload your photos or photo files to our servers. Downloaded photos are saved directly to your computer by your browser. Trashed photos go to your Google Photos Trash.
