Overview

Reliable screenshot capture and page inspection for the BugHunt bug-reporting widget.

BugHunt lets you report website bugs right where you see them. Click any element, drop a pin, and send a report with a screenshot attached, straight to your team's BugHunt board. You don't need to write up steps separately or swap screenshots over chat. HOW IT WORKS 1. Open the site you're reviewing and click the BugHunt icon. 2. Pin the exact element that's wrong. BugHunt takes a screenshot of the page. 3. Mark up the screenshot, add a title and description, set a priority, and submit. 4. The report shows up on your project board, ready for a developer to pick up. WHAT THE EXTENSION ADDS • Reliable screenshots: BugHunt uses the browser's own capture, so pages with modern CSS colour functions, cross-origin images or strict Content Security Policies still capture correctly. • No-code setup: show the BugHunt widget on any site you're testing without adding a script tag. Pick a project for the current site, or turn on auto-match to load the right project's widget based on the site's domain. • Pin to element: every report remembers exactly where on the page the problem is, so developers land on the right spot. • Screenshot markup: boxes, arrows, freehand and text, to point at the problem. • Technical details included: page URL, browser, operating system, viewport size and screen resolution are attached to each report automatically. • Single sign-on with your BugHunt workspace: sign in once on the dashboard and the extension picks up your session. WHO IT'S FOR Agencies, QA testers, designers, project managers and clients reviewing websites before and after launch. REQUIREMENTS You need a BugHunt account. Sign in at https://bughunt.wliq.ai, then use the extension on any site you're reviewing. PRIVACY The extension captures a screenshot only when you start a bug report. Reports, screenshots and page details are sent only to your BugHunt workspace. They are never sold or shared with third parties.
