Overview

Record your screen and automatically capture console logs, network requests, user steps and device info in one bug report.

Bugcap turns "it's broken" into a bug report your developers can actually reproduce. Hit record, walk through the bug, and Bugcap captures everything a developer needs alongside your screen recording: console logs, network requests, the steps you took, and your device details. When you stop, you get one complete report instead of a vague message and a screenshot. WHAT IT CAPTURES • Screen recording: record the current tab, a window, or your whole screen. • Console logs: logs, warnings, errors, and uncaught exceptions, including stack traces. • Network requests: method, URL, status, timing, and failed requests highlighted, with response bodies for fetch and XHR calls. • User steps: clicks, form inputs, submits, page navigations, and tab switches, written as plain-English steps. • Device info: browser, operating system, screen and viewport size, language, time zone, and more. • Voice narration: explain the bug as you go. Your mic starts muted, and you can mute or unmute it any time while recording. WHY TEAMS USE IT • No more back-and-forth. Developers get the exact errors and failed requests behind the bug, not just a description of it. • Everything is in sync. Click any console error, network request, or step in the report to jump the video to that moment. • Works across tabs. If the bug spans several tabs on the same site, Bugcap follows along and records them all in one report. • Fast to use. Start from the toolbar, the right-click menu, or the Alt+Shift+B shortcut. A small on-page control shows the timer, mic toggle, and Stop button. SHARE IT YOUR WAY • Share locally, free, with no account: export as PDF or Markdown, copy Markdown straight into your issue tracker, or download a ZIP with the video, an offline HTML report, and raw JSON. • Share via link: upload to bugcap.io and send a single link that anyone can open in the browser. PRIVATE BY DEFAULT • Recordings and reports are stored locally in your browser until you choose to share them. • Bugcap only captures while you're recording. It records that you typed into a field, never what you typed, and skips password fields entirely. Great for QA testers, product managers, designers, support teams, and developers. Anyone who has ever had to explain a bug.
