The first time you install BuddyBar, a friendly welcome page shows you what it does and exactly which sites it works on — no more guessing where the bar will appear. No more dead clicks. Click the BuddyBar icon on a site it doesn't cover and it now shows you where it does work, instead of doing nothing. Only show when I open it. A new setting for people who move through a lot of documents they don't edit. Turn it on and BuddyBar stays out of the way on every page until you open it from the toolbar icon or with Ctrl+Shift+B — and opening it applies only to that page. Stays hidden when you hide it. A close button tucks BuddyBar away when you don't need it — and brings it right back from the BuddyBar icon in your browser toolbar, or a small tab on the edge of the page.
