Buddy is an AI study assistant that works beside an assignment you deliberately open. It identifies questions, drafts editable responses with explanations, and waits for you to review and approve each answer before attempting to place it. Buddy is currently an unlisted beta. Platform support is being tested assignment by assignment, and suggestions may be incomplete or incorrect. Always review the work and follow your school’s rules. Current beta features: • Question and answer-field scanning on supported assignment pages • Editable AI-generated suggestions with short explanations • Compact calculation steps for supported math problems • User approval before every insertion attempt • Placement checks for supported Canvas worksheets and Google Docs • A web workspace preview for computers where extensions are unavailable Buddy never clicks Submit Assignment, Turn In, or an equivalent submission control. It never inserts an answer silently. Secret AI keys remain on Buddy’s hosted server and are not included in the extension. Because this is beta software, Canvas and Google Docs support can vary by assignment format. Kami, Schoology, and other platforms are not yet claimed as supported.
