Overview

Catch and fix Bubble app errors automatically — with AI

A note about the "read your data on all websites" permission Chrome shows a scary warning when you install this. Here's exactly why, and what actually happens. Why it's needed: Bubble apps can be published on any custom domain you choose. There's no way to know your domain in advance, so the extension has to be allowed to look. What actually happens: On page load it checks one thing — is this a Bubble app? If not, it shuts down completely. No data read, no errors collected, nothing stored, no requests made. It's inert on every other website you visit. What is never sent anywhere: - Your app's data, database records, or user information — never - Your page content or anything you type — never - Analytics, tracking, telemetry — none. There is no analytics code in this extension at all. The only thing that ever leaves your browser is the specific error text you choose to send by clicking "Solve with AI" — at that moment, and only that error. Everything else stays in your browser's local storage. If you've ever spent 30 minutes trying to figure out why a Bubble workflow suddenly stopped working, this extension is for you. Bubble Preflight watches your Bubble app while you build and test it. Instead of digging through the browser console, network requests, and Bubble's debugger, it automatically catches problems as they happen and explains what's going on. When something breaks, you don't just get a cryptic error message. You get a clear explanation written in Bubble terms, with suggestions on where to look and what to check. Features • Automatic Error Radar Runs quietly in the background while you're using your Preview or Published app. If something goes wrong, you'll see it immediately. It can detect things like: Failed workflow requests API Connector errors Privacy Rule blocks JavaScript errors Plugin crashes Failed resource loading Slow requests and other runtime issues • AI Diagnosis Click any detected issue to get a detailed explanation of what most likely caused it and how to fix it. The AI uses the error context automatically, so you don't have to copy and paste console logs. • Deep Scan Checks your page for potential problems before they become real ones. It can find things like broken navigation links, disconnected buttons, invalid references, oversized repeating groups, and other common Bubble issues. • Performance Insights See what's slowing your app down, including slow requests, large payloads, long tasks, and other performance bottlenecks. Privacy Bubble Preflight only runs on Bubble applications. It doesn't collect or monitor anything on other websites. Only the specific debugging information that you choose to analyze is sent to the AI. Your application is never automatically uploaded or shared.I originally built this because I was tired of constantly switching between Bubble's debugger, the browser console, the Network tab, and ChatGPT just to understand a single error. Now everything is in one place.
