BT Improvements

Cosmetic and usability improvements for the BT website.

BT Improvements adds several small usability upgrades to the Brightree website, designed to cut down on repetitive clicks and make patient information easier to read and copy. WHAT IT DOES - Enlarges the Patient ID text at the top of patient and order pages, and the Patient Name text on Order Entry pages, so key identifying information is easier to read at a glance. Text size is adjustable from the options page. - Click-to-copy: click the Patient Name or Patient ID header field to instantly copy it to your clipboard (Patient Name copies as "Last, First - ID"; Patient ID copies just the number). Each can be turned on or off independently. - One-click jump from read-only patient pages to their editable view: for the Personal, Contacts, Clinical, Insurance, and Notes sections, you can enable an automatic redirect that sends you straight to the editable version of the page instead of the read-only one, skipping the extra click through "Edit." Each category can be toggled independently (Insurance is on by default; the others are off by default). - Automatically fixes phone and fax numbers pasted into Brightree's formatted phone fields. If you paste a number that still has parentheses, dashes, or spaces (e.g. "(555) 555-5555"), the extension cleans it up automatically so it lands correctly instead of getting jumbled by the page's input mask. Numbers pasted as plain digits are unaffected and work exactly as before. Every feature has its own on/off switch on the options page, so you can use only what's useful to you. WHERE IT WORKS This extension only activates on Brightree pages. It does nothing on any other website. PRIVACY & PERMISSIONS This extension does not collect, transmit, or share any data with any external server, company, or third party. It reads only what's already shown on the page you're viewing, writes to your clipboard only when you click a field with click-to-copy enabled, and stores only your own display preferences locally in your browser (never uploaded or synced to an account). Because its features are useful across many different Brightree pages rather than a single screen, this extension requests permission to run across the Brightree site rather than one page, along with a narrow permission that lets it automatically redirect between two Brightree pages (the read-only and editable versions of the same page) for the optional redirect feature described above. This redirect permission only allows matching and redirecting web addresses - it does not allow the extension to read, log, or modify the contents of any page or request. This is an independent tool built to save time on repetitive tasks.
