BSVKey Names
Overview
Open .key names from the BSVKey name registry on Bitcoin BSV. Type alice.key/ in the address bar.
Websites that live on Bitcoin BSV, at addresses you can remember. BSVKey Names lets you open names from the BSVKey name registry the way you open any website. Type moonbase.key/ in the address bar and the page loads straight from the Bitcoin BSV blockchain. There's no hosting server and no domain registrar, and nobody can take the page down. HOW TO USE • Type name.key/ (with the slash) in the address bar • Or type: key name • Or click the toolbar icon and enter a name • Optional: let the extension recognize plain name.key typed in the address bar (you can turn this on and off in the popup) HOW IT WORKS Names are claimed on bsvkey.com and recorded on Bitcoin BSV. The first claim wins, and only the owner can transfer a name. When you open a name, the extension reads the registry to find the owner, then loads the newest page that owner signed for that name. Ownership is checked from the transaction signatures, so nobody else can put a page on your name. PRIVATE AND SANDBOXED • No account, no tracking, no analytics • On-chain pages run in an isolated sandbox with no access to the extension, your other tabs or any wallet • The only thing the extension sends anywhere is the name you're opening, to look it up on the blockchain GET A NAME Claim your own .key name at https://bsvkey.com, publish a page for it, and share yourname.key with anyone who has the extension. Note: .key names live on Bitcoin BSV, not in the public DNS. You need this extension to open them in a browser.
