The formatting of the light grey border around the photo on the "New Tab" screen is unsatisfying when you consider that the bookmark bar (as well as taskbar, screen size, etc.) variations that many people have can ruin the composition you were creating on your screen. Either format an accent like that in a symmetrical manner so that inevitable horizontal cropping doesn't destroy it, or make it entirely vertical.
