Overview

Capture console, network, interactions and DOM snapshots for bug reports

Browser Recorder captures everything you need to file a bug report — console logs, network requests, user interactions, DOM snapshots, screenshots, and optional tab video — and bundles it into a single self-contained .zip you can hand to a teammate or paste into an issue. No server. No account. No cloud. Everything stays on your device. WHAT EACH CAPTURE CONTAINS • Console — log/warn/error/info/debug from page JS, plus uncaught errors • Network — every XHR/fetch request and response (headers + body), each copyable as a curl scaffold • WebSocket & SSE — lifecycle and message frames • Interactions — clicks, inputs, and navigations with element metadata • DOM snapshots — serialised HTML with inlined same-origin styles • Screenshots — manual captures with an annotation canvas (arrow, rectangle, blur) • Video — tab recording via MediaRecorder (Chrome only) • Ring buffer — always-on background capture, so you can export what just happened even if you didn't start a session The export is a single report.html viewer that opens in any browser. Before exporting, you can redact or drop sensitive network entries and uncheck large artifacts (like video) to keep the zip small. REQUEST REPLAY Replay any captured request against the still-open page — edit the method, URL, headers, or body, resend, and compare against the original response. Replay results are ephemeral and never written into the exported zip. PRIVACY Browser Recorder makes no network calls of its own. Nothing is uploaded, and there is no account or server. Captured data lives only in the .zip you choose to export.
