)Overview
A tiny draggable pixel companion for regular websites, with built-in pets, custom local uploads, and encouraging click messages.
Browser Pet puts a tiny pixel companion on the regular websites you visit. Hatch it, give it a name, drag it anywhere on the page, and build a gentle daily care rhythm while you browse, read, study, or work. Your pet keeps living between visits. Hunger, energy, mood, and tidiness change gradually in real time. When a need runs low, Browser Pet can show a quiet toolbar badge. Optional attention notifications are off by default and are throttled so your companion stays encouraging, not demanding. CARE IN A FEW TAPS • Feed to restore hunger • Train for XP and a daily streak • Talk to improve mood and friendship • Play for a quick burst of joy • Rest to recover energy • Clean when things get messy • Praise good behaviour—or scold only when it is deserved HATCH, NAME, AND GROW TOGETHER Every built-in pet starts as an egg. After hatching, it grows through Baby, Child, Teen, and Adult stages. Growth depends on days cared for, and the Adult care grade reflects how consistently you looked after your companion. A PET WITH ITS OWN RHYTHM Browser Pet rests from 11 pm to 7 am local time. Needs drift more slowly overnight and energy recovers, making a morning check-in feel rewarding. Click the pet on a webpage for movement, a small message, and a little bonding time. 23 BUILT-IN PETS, WITH A SINGAPORE TWIST Choose from Otti, Rider, Durio, Chicky Rice, Tapi, Hornbill, Supertree, MRT, Monyet, Ah Sing, Busby, and many more. Each pet keeps its own name, needs, XP, stage, care grade, and streak. BRING YOUR OWN PET Browser Pet can also load one validated .codex-pet.zip package with a matching preview GIF. Custom pet files remain in local browser storage. A local backup is saved automatically before extension updates, with a restore control in Settings. PRIVATE BY DESIGN • No account • No analytics • No browsing-history collection • No pet-file uploads to a server • Settings, progress, and custom pet data stay in chrome.storage.local Browser Pet uses storage for local settings and care progress, alarms for periodic need checks, and notifications only when you opt in to attention alerts. Browser Pet works on regular websites. Like other browser extensions, it cannot run on browser-internal pages, the Chrome Web Store, or some privileged pages.
