Overview

CDP-like browser control via CLI

Browser Bridge is a local browser control bridge for developers, automation workflows, and AI agents. It connects command-line tools, scripts, editor integrations, and agent environments to user-controlled Chrome or Edge tabs through a paired browser extension and bridge server. Key use cases include inspecting live browser pages, debugging real sessions, collecting page context, capturing screenshots or PDFs, checking network and cookie state, and automating repetitive browser workflows without launching a separate automation-only browser profile. Core capabilities include local or remote bridge deployment, explicit pairing, token-based access, tab management, page inspection, screenshot capture, PDF export, network inspection, cookie inspection, and raw Chrome DevTools Protocol commands. The project includes a CLI, browser extension, bridge server, documentation, releases, and an agent skill with embedded source for agent-based browser workflows.
