Overview

Capture audio from multiple open tabs and mix them on a channel-strip board, like in your DAW

Turn your open tabs into channels on a mixing board. Browser Audio Mixer & FX lets you pull audio from any number of open tabs — a music tab, a call, a stream, a game — onto one channel-strip mixer, and control each source independently: volume, pan, mute, solo, and a full effects rack, without ever switching tabs. Per-channel controls - Independent volume fader with a live peak meter - Pan - Mute and solo, like a real mixing board - One master fader for everything at once A real effects rack, not a fixed EQ Add as many effects as you want to any channel, in any order, and drag to reorder them live: - Reverb - Delay - Chorus, Flanger, Phaser - Tremolo, Auto-Pan - Distortion, Bitcrusher, Ring Modulator - Filter/EQ (lowpass, highpass, bandpass, shelving, peaking, notch) - Compressor - Stereo Widener Each effect can be bypassed, tweaked, collapsed to save space, or removed without disturbing the rest of the chain. Save your favorite chains Build a chain you like — say, a compressor into a gentle EQ into a touch of reverb — and save it as a named preset. Apply it to any other tab's channel in one click instead of rebuilding it from scratch. Built to stay out of your way The mixer keeps running in the background even after you close the popup, so you can keep working while your channels keep playing and your effects keep processing. Private by design All audio processing happens locally in your browser using the Web Audio API. Nothing is recorded, nothing is uploaded, and this extension makes no network requests at all. See the privacy policy for details. --- Note: due to how Chrome's tab-audio capture works, a tab's normal audio output is muted once you add it as a channel — its sound now plays only through the mixer, which is what lets you control it independently.
