Use the ChatGPT web app in the side panel

Translate and proofread any text with a right-click – no copy-paste, no prompt writing. Browser AI puts ChatGPT in your Chrome side panel: select text, choose "Translate" or "Fix grammar" in the right-click menu, and the prompt and your text are filled in automatically. Just press Enter to get the result. You can also summarize articles, translate whole web pages and ask questions about any page, without switching tabs. MAIN FEATURES • Translate selected text with a right-click Select text, right-click → "Translate selected text". The translation prompt and your text are filled into ChatGPT automatically – press Enter and the translation appears in the side panel. Choose from 15 target languages in the settings, including English, Chinese (Simplified and Traditional), Spanish, French, German, Japanese and Korean. • Fix grammar and wording with a right-click Select your own text, right-click → "Fix grammar and wording of selected text". ChatGPT corrects it to a native-speaker standard – great for emails, cover letters and posts. No need to write a prompt. • Translate web pages Right-click → "Translate current page". The whole page and the translation prompt are filled into ChatGPT for you. • Ask about the current page Right-click → "Read current page" attaches the page's text to ChatGPT. Ask for a summary, the key points, or answers to your own questions. • ChatGPT in the side panel Open the full ChatGPT website beside the page you are reading. Your chats and settings work as usual. • Ask about selected text Select text, right-click → "Use Browser AI". The text is placed in the ChatGPT message box so you can ask about it right away. • Keyboard shortcut Open the side panel with Ctrl+Shift+Y (Mac: ⌘+Shift+Y). You can change it at chrome://extensions/shortcuts. HOW TO USE 1. Press Ctrl+Shift+Y, or right-click any page and choose "Use Browser AI". 2. Sign in to ChatGPT once (a free account works). 3. Right-click a page or selected text, choose a Browser AI action and press Enter.
