Browser Activity Monitor
Overview
Logs postcode and EPC URLs
This Chrome extension is designed for academic research purposes. It extracts publicly available postcodes and EPC-related data from the source code of Rightmove property listing pages. When a user visits a Rightmove property listing, the extension scans the page for the EPC rating chart and associated metadata. It then parses the page content to retrieve: - The property’s postcode - A link to the EPC - The page URL This data can be used for university research, particularly in the fields of energy efficiency, property market analysis, or urban studies. ⚠️ This tool does not modify the page, collect personal data, or send any data to external servers. All processing is done locally in the browser. 🧪 This extension was developed as part of a university research project and is intended for educational use only.
