Broken Link Scanner
Overview
Checks links on the active page and records details about the ones returning 404, 410, or 5xx status codes.
Find broken links while browsing your, your client's, or your mistress's website! With its simple yet effective interface, the Broken Link Scanner works wonders in tandem with your other in-browser SEO / web dev tools. Features include: * Passively scans the webpage in the active tab of your browser as it loads * Records the broke target URL, the link's anchor text, the target's status code, and the number of scanned pages found containing the exact link * Generates a button for a quick Google index search query with the anchor text and domain of the broken target URL. A quick "recommendation" for some URL correction! * Offers convenient data export options * Comes with an Import URLs option for checking a fresh list of URLs on the fly * Notes the user-agent setting for each link scan - great for diagnosing device disparity issues * Itemize all scanned URLs and their status code if you're a nerd. Turn it on, set the DevTools Console to Verbose and see a lot more data that no one else cares about * Latest feature: Enter Slowmo Mode for especially recalcitrant sites that rely on rate limit blocking, throttling, or some ungodly hybrid thereof. Be warned: It's reaaaaaaaaal slow though
