BringLive Guard
Overview
Blocks supported ads, trackers, scam prompts and risky pop-ups locally while preserving genuine user-started service flows.
BringLive Guard is a privacy-focused browser protection extension designed to make everyday browsing cleaner, safer and easier to control. BROWSER PROTECTION BringLive Guard helps protect Chrome users from supported advertising, tracking requests, intrusive pop-ups, pop-unders, suspicious redirects and misleading subscription activity. Key features include: • Blocks supported advertising and tracking requests using local Manifest V3 protection rules. • Stops high-confidence intrusive pop-ups and pop-unders. • Allows trusted, user-initiated account, sign-in and payment windows. • Hides supported advertising panels, intrusive overlays and disruptive page elements. • Warns about suspicious recurring subscriptions, airtime billing, trials, renewals, OTP requests and payment wording. • Reviews supported links and downloads for security warning signals. • Allows users to trust legitimate websites or block unwanted domains. • Groups protection events into one quiet notification centre instead of showing repeated notifications. • Provides local counters and activity reports so users can understand what was blocked. SMART POP-UP PROTECTION BringLive Guard does not block every new window automatically. The extension considers whether a window followed a genuine user click, whether the destination matches the selected action, whether the website is trusted and whether the destination matches known advertising, scam or pop-under behaviour. This allows normal Google account, Gmail, Drive, business-management, authentication and payment workflows to continue while high-confidence intrusive pop-ups can be stopped. PRIVACY-FIRST OPERATION BringLive Guard processes supported page content, website addresses, navigation signals and download metadata locally inside the browser to provide its protection features. Protection settings, trusted domains, blocked domains, counters and notification-centre activity are stored locally on the user’s device. The current version does not sell personal information, use browsing activity for personalised advertising or transmit raw passwords, card numbers, PINs or OTP values to BringLive Digital. USER CONTROL Users can: • Turn protection features on or off. • Trust a legitimate website. • Block an unwanted domain. • Review protection events when convenient. • Clear locally stored activity. • allow a legitimate action when it has been stopped incorrectly. IMPORTANT LIMITATIONS BringLive Guard provides browser-level protection. It is not a replacement for Microsoft Defender, enterprise endpoint protection or another operating-system antivirus. No browser extension can guarantee that every advertisement, tracker, scam, malicious website, download or subscription attempt will be detected. Some first-party content, video-stream advertising, browser-protected pages and newly developed delivery methods may not be filterable. Users remain responsible for reviewing downloads, payments, subscriptions, account actions and security warnings. BringLive Guard is developed by BringLive Digital (Pty) Ltd as part of its mission to create practical digital systems that provide customers with greater clarity, control and confidence.
