A Brightspace/D2L grade viewing and analysis tool.
BrightView automatically summarizes your Brightspace/D2L grades when you open the Grades page — no setup, no accounts, no data collection. The extension runs locally in your browser, reading grade information already visible to you and presenting clear summaries, averages, and insights to help students quickly understand their academic progress. Author BrightView was developed by Brady Chaulk, a Computer Engineering student, as a personal project exploring user-facing tools, data interpretation, and responsible software design. Privacy BrightView does not collect, transmit, or store personal data externally. All analysis is performed locally within the user’s browser using grade information already visible on the Brightspace Grades page. Disclaimer BrightView is an independent, student-built project and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by D2L or Brightspace. The extension is read-only and only analyzes grade information already visible to the user.
