Overview

Dim YouTube videos with a simple radio choice: 0%, 10%, 30%, 50%, 70% or 100% brightness. Easy on the eyes at night.

BrightTube lets you change how bright YouTube videos look — with one click, no sliders. Pick one of six levels: 0%, 10%, 30%, 50%, 70% or 100%. HOW IT WORKS • A compact black bar appears right below the video player on the right side. Click a level and the video changes instantly. • You can also choose the level from the toolbar icon. • Your choice is remembered and synced across your Chrome browsers. WHY BRIGHTTUBE • Watch in a dark room without being blinded by bright videos. • Radio buttons instead of sliders — fast, precise, and repeatable. • Lightweight: it only changes the video's brightness. Nothing else on the page is touched. PRIVACY BrightTube does not collect, store or transmit any personal data. Your brightness setting is saved only in your own Chrome sync storage. BrightTube is an independent extension and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by YouTube or Google. YouTube is a trademark of Google LLC.
