Grade Exporter A faculty productivity tool for Brightspace/D2L. Exports the Grades page into a clean, properly formatted Excel workbook — matching Brightspace's own category/item layout, with color-coded scores, autosized columns, and a frozen header — instead of the plain, unformatted export Brightspace produces by default. What it does 1. Reads the grade grid on your currently open Brightspace Grades page and rebuilds it as a formatted .xlsx file 2. Preserves category groupings (e.g. a "Quizzes" category spanning multiple sub-items) the same way Brightspace displays them 3. Color-codes scores and adds course/faculty/term header rows 4. Optionally marks selected students as INC, per your institution's own grading convention HOW TO USE: In Brightspace Go to Assessment > Grades. Then just enable the plugin to grab the grades, fill out the necessary fields, then click on export to excel PRIVACY Runs entirely in your browser.
