Brighter Days
Overview
Brighter Days helps you browse intentionally with reflective pauses and timed sessions.
Brighter Days helps you approach the web with a clear purpose and a little more room to choose. Before opening a site, pause to name what you want from the visit, consider an offline alternative, complete a brief real-world preparation action, and choose a session length. If you return shortly after a session ends, Brighter Days gives you space to note what you learned before deciding what comes next. Keep useful sites on a Direct access list, while Always intentional sites continue to ask for a deliberate session even during a global session. Site sessions and global sessions use fixed expiration times and work across tabs. There are no daily quotas, streaks, scores, guilt messages, or permanent lockouts. Your intentions, reflections, preferences, and session details stay in extension storage on your device. Brighter Days has no accounts, advertising, analytics, or backend service. Brighter Days adds a practical pause between impulse and action—enough friction to help you choose while leaving the choice with you. Session expiry is checked when you navigate or return to a site, rather than interrupting a page at the exact second. Browser-protected pages and embedded frames are outside its scope.
