BriefFeed adds compact AI summaries near the posts, threads, comments, profiles, repository pages, and discussion items you already have open in your browser. It is designed as a lightweight reading assistant for busy social, community, news, forum, and developer pages. When supported content is already loaded on the current page, BriefFeed can place a short summary close to the original item, so you can quickly understand the main point while keeping the source text, media, links, replies, and surrounding context available. It does not call hidden platform APIs, collect cookies, read account/session data, capture full DOM snapshots, or crawl content outside the current page. To generate a summary, BriefFeed sends only the loaded-page content needed for summarization and minimal metadata such as item URL or id, author display label, timestamp, platform, detected language, requested summary language, visible text, and optional visible link, media, or quoted-context metadata. Saved items are stored by the extension so you can revisit summaries and source links later. BriefFeed is useful for people who follow fast-moving discussions and want a quick first pass before choosing what to read in depth.
