Overview
Record what you want, hit stop. Your coding agent reads the brief and files the ticket. Local-first voice + tab capture.
Brief turns a 30-second voice note into a filed ticket. Hit the ✦ icon. Talk through the bug or feature while showing it on screen. Stop. Brief saves a self-contained zip locally — transcript, screen recording, keyframes, and console errors — to ~/Downloads/brief/. Then paste one prompt into your coding agent (Claude Code, Cursor, Cline, any local agent with file access and a tracker integration). It reads the brief, picks the right Linear team / GitHub repo / Notion DB, embeds keyframes inline, and files the ticket. You stay in flow. Why it's different • Local-first. Recording, transcript, and keyframes never leave your machine. (Audio is sent to Chrome's built-in speech recognition for the live transcript only.) • Bundles its own skill. Every brief zip contains the filing playbook, so any local agent can process it without a global install. • Built for batches. Capture 8 briefs through the day, file 8 tickets in one agent run. Requirements: a local coding agent with file access and a tracker integration. Open-source, MIT licensed: https://github.com/razi2001/brief
