Overview
A calm guided breathing exercise. Hum a slow sigh on each exhale to settle your nerves — runs in your browser, nothing uploaded.
Take a calm, guided breath — right in your browser. Breathe walks you through a few unhurried rounds of slow breathing at about six breaths a minute: 1. Breathe in as a soft gold orb gently swells 2. Hum a long, sinking sigh on the exhale — an on-screen comet follows your pitch and drifts down as you relax 3. A brief settle, then begin again There is no score, no streak, no pass or fail. Just six calm breaths. Pick a pace — Calm or Deep — and begin. WHY IT FEELS CALMING. Slow breathing around six breaths a minute sits near your "resonance frequency," a pace linked in research to greater heart-rate variability through a vagally-mediated reflex many people find relaxing. A longer, unhurried exhale and gentle humming add to the effect. (This is a relaxation and warm-up practice for general wellness, not medical treatment.) 100% PRIVATE. The pitch of your hum is detected entirely on your device using on-device AI (the SwiftF0 model via ONNX Runtime + WebAssembly). Your microphone audio is never recorded, uploaded, or sent anywhere. The extension makes no network requests — the only links that ever open are the "share the calm" buttons you tap yourself. No sign-up. No account. Completely free. Tip: use headphones in a quiet room and let each exhale be longer than the inhale. Want to do more with your voice?
