BreakCycle – Website Blocker & Time Budget
Overview
Website blocker for distracting sites — on a schedule, on a daily budget, with breaks when you really need one.
BreakCycle is built around a small idea: the version of you who plans your day is usually better at it than the version of you who's six social tabs deep at 11pm. So you set the rules now — calmly, intentionally — and BreakCycle does the quiet work of holding the line later. What you can set up: 🗓️ Schedules that fit a real week Block your problem sites during your work hours on weekdays, then keep a separate schedule for weekends. No more lumping Saturday in with Tuesday. ⏳ A daily time budget If a hard block feels too strict, give yourself a budget instead -- say, twenty minutes a day. Spend it however you want. When it's gone, the sites go quiet until tomorrow. ☕ Take a Break, on purpose You don't always need to be cut off. The Take a Break button gives you a small, deliberate window to handle something real, without blowing up the schedule you set for yourself. A quiet tool, on your side BreakCycle is free, runs entirely in your browser, and never asks you to sign in. There's no account, no sync, no server collecting your data — because a tool meant to help you spend less time online shouldn't itself be one more thing watching you.
