BrainApp Guard to rozszerzenie przeglądarkowe dla aplikacji BrainApp. Łączy Google Chrome z lokalnie zainstalowaną aplikacją BrainApp na komputerze, aby umożliwić blokowanie stron internetowych oraz zapisywanie statystyk aktywności w przeglądarce. Rozszerzenie stosuje reguły blokowania stron skonfigurowane przez użytkownika w aplikacji BrainApp. Gdy użytkownik otworzy zablokowaną stronę, BrainApp Guard przekierowuje kartę na stronę blokady. Rozszerzenie przekazuje też informacje o aktywności w przeglądarce i stanie bezczynności do lokalnego hosta natywnego BrainApp zainstalowanego na tym samym komputerze. BrainApp Guard działa razem z aplikacją BrainApp dla Windows. Rozszerzenie nie działa jako samodzielna usługa chmurowa i nie sprzedaje ani nie wykorzystuje danych o aktywności w przeglądarce do celów reklamowych.
