SUMMARY Get a desktop notification the moment a Bible quiz team you follow starts a new quiz on BQTournament Live. DESCRIPTION BQ Quiz Notifier watches BQTournament Live (https://www.upcquiz.com/results/livenew.php) in the background and sends a desktop notification the instant a team you're following starts a new quiz — no need to keep a browser tab open and refresh it yourself. How it works: - Add the team names you want to follow in the popup (click the toolbar icon). Matching is case-insensitive and matches on partial team names, so "western" will match "Western 1", "Western 2", etc. - The extension checks for live games in the background on an interval you choose (30 or 60 seconds), and can be paused entirely from the popup. - When a followed team appears in a game for the first time, you get a native desktop notification. Click it to jump straight to that game's scoresheet. - As the game progresses, you also get a notification whenever the score changes, showing the current question number, both teams' scores, and the live status line (e.g. who just buzzed in) — this can be turned off separately from the popup if you only want the "game started" notifications. - When a followed team's game ends, you get a final notification with the confirmed final score — pulled from the official scoresheet rather than just the last score seen while it was live, so it's accurate even if the game wrapped up between checks. - A followed team's row in the popup links directly to their current live game (or games, if more than one is live at once) — no need to wait for a notification. Once a game ends, it stays listed there with its final score until you manually clear it, so you don't have to catch the notification in the moment. - The toolbar icon shows a badge with a count whenever a followed team is currently live, visible without opening the popup. - Optionally narrow the search to specific tournaments: the popup shows every tournament currently live, and checking one limits where your followed teams are searched for — it doesn't change who you're notified about. Leave everything unchecked to search every live tournament. Each tournament name also links directly to its live results matrix on upcquiz.com. Notes: - This is an unofficial, independent tool and is not affiliated with or endorsed by upcquiz.com. - All data stays on your device (and syncs via your own Google account if you're signed into Chrome) — nothing is sent to any server other than upcquiz.com's own public live-results endpoint.
