bproxy
Overview
Companion extension for bproxy. Connects Chrome to a local bproxy daemon for explicit human-in-the-loop browser actions.
bproxy is a human-in-the-loop browser bridge for AI agents. This companion extension connects your Chrome browser to a local bproxy daemon running on your machine. How it works An AI agent sends commands through a CLI to a local daemon on localhost. The daemon forwards actions to this extension over a WebSocket connection. The extension executes explicit browser actions (read page text, fill forms, click elements, navigate) in your real browser session. You stay in control — logins, CAPTCHAs, consent screens, and final submits remain yours. Privacy Nothing leaves your device. All communication is between localhost processes. No data collection, no analytics, no telemetry. No remote code execution — all logic is self-contained in the extension. The extension only acts when commanded and does not monitor or modify pages on its own. Setup Install bproxy CLI and daemon (npm install -g @dimdasci/bproxy). Run "bproxy service start" to get a one-time pairing code, then enter the code in this extension's popup. Permissions rationale: - tabs — route actions to specific tabs; - scripting — inject content script on first command; - webNavigation — track navigation for session identity; - storage — persist pairing token locally; - host permissions — support actions on any page the user directs.
