Overview

Save the job you're on, tailor a resume from your own career history, and fill the application. You press Submit.

Find a job you like. Then the real work starts. You work out which resume version fits, rewrite a few lines for this role, then type your name, email and work history into a form you have filled twenty times before, on a site that wants it all again. Maestro CS Companion does that for you, right beside the job posting. It picks the resume that fits, tailors it to the role by itself, and fills the form. Four steps: • Job: save the posting you are looking at into Maestro. It scores it against each of your base resumes and picks the best match. • Resume: use that resume as it is, or press Quick tailor: it tailors the resume to this job by itself, from your own career history, and makes the PDF. Every bullet is something you actually did. Want a say in each line? Tailor in Maestro and approve every change. • Fill: on the application form, it fills in your details and your saved answers, attaches the resume, and asks you about anything it can't answer. • Track: mark the job Draft or Applied, so your list in Maestro stays true. Then it stops. It never presses Submit. That click is yours. Want it to go further? Turn on full automation in Maestro and the Job step gets an Apply button. Apply takes one job through its whole application in the tab you are on: it fills a page, presses Next, fills the next, and signs in or makes an account on the application sites it knows with the job-site login you saved. It stops on the review page, or earlier at a CAPTCHA, an email code or anything it is not sure of. When the confirmation shows after your Submit, the job is marked applied. HOW IT WORKS The Companion is the browser half of Maestro Career Studio, a free, open-source app that runs on your own computer. Maestro keeps one career history and builds a specialist resume for each kind of role, company and country you go after. The Companion brings that to the job page. You need Maestro running first. It installs with two commands on macOS, Linux and Windows: uv tool install --python 3.12 maestro-career-studio maestro start Setup guide: https://github.com/seinun-ai/maestro-career-studio WHAT IT LEAVES TO YOU • It never presses Submit, at any setting. • Autofill fills the page you are on and never presses Next. Only Apply, which you start with full automation on, presses Next, and it stops on the review page. • By default it does not fill signatures, government IDs, salary history, or agreement and consent boxes. You can allow agreements and signatures in Maestro’s Settings, on the Companion tab. • It types a password only during Apply's sign-in, on known application sites, from the job-site login you saved in Maestro. Anywhere else it waits for you to sign in, and it never retries a failed sign-in. • It never unticks a box you ticked. YOUR DATA • The Companion talks only to your own Maestro, at the address you set in its options (http://localhost:8001 by default). Nothing goes to the developer: no analytics, no tracking, no account. • AI help, when you use it, goes from your Maestro to the AI service you chose (OpenAI, Claude, Gemini, OpenRouter or your own AI server) with your own key. It never includes your job-site password. • Your job-site login stays in Maestro on your computer. The Companion fetches it only while full automation is on, and it never reaches the developer, an AI model, a log or the panel. • With Apply, each page it moves past, and your login when it signs in, go to the employer's application site before you press Submit, just as they would if you clicked through yourself. • The fill log is off unless you turn it on in the Companion's options. When on, it notes which fields were filled and on which sites, inside your own Maestro, never what you typed. • Privacy policy: https://github.com/seinun-ai/maestro-career-studio/blob/main/PRIVACY.md It fills the form. You press Submit.
